Resusitation Courses 2026 upon request

Since November 2026, we have been officially recognized as a training center by the Nederlandse Reanimatie Raad (NRR) – the first in the Caribbean region.
This recognition highlights our commitment to quality, professionalism, and patient safety. We are extremely proud of this milestone and consider it an important step in the further development of resuscitation education in the region.
As an accredited NRR training center, we provide our courses in accordance with the most recent NRR Guidelines 2025. High-quality education, hands-on practical training, and optimal team performance are central to our programs. Our goal is to prepare not only healthcare professionals, but everyone within society, to respond effectively in acute and life-threatening situations.
Below you will find information about the four courses we offer upon request. All courses can be customized for groups of 6 participants. Further details are provided below.

5 general learning objectives of a resuscitation course:
- Recognizing a cardiac arrest and correctly activating emergency services.
- Performing high-quality chest compressions and ventilations according to current guidelines.
- Safely and effectively using an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).
- Working together and communicating clearly during a resuscitation scenario.
- Acting quickly and in a structured manner in an acute, life-threatening situation.
Course 1: ALS (Advanced LifeSupport) – 2-day course
The ALS course is designed for healthcare professionals involved in the acutecare and treatment of adult patients experiencing cardiac arrest.
During this intensive two-daytraining, you will learn to act systematically according to currentresuscitation guidelines. Topics include high-quality CPR, rhythm recognition,defibrillation, airway management, medication therapy, and effective team communication.The course is highly practice-oriented and focused on teamwork within theresuscitation team.

Course 2: ILS (Immediate LifeSupport) – 1-day course
The ILS course is intended for healthcare professionals who may encounter a(threatened) cardiac arrest in their work but are not permanent members of anALS team.
The training focuses on earlyrecognition of the deteriorating patient, initiating high-quality CPR, andsupporting the resuscitation team until advanced help arrives. Practical skillsand team communication are central components of the course.

Course 3: BLS (Basic LifeSupport) – 2.5 hours
The BLS course is suitable for healthcare staff and non-healthcareprofessionals who want to learn how to respond to a cardiac arrest.
During this hands-on training, youwill learn how to recognize a cardiac arrest, activate emergency services,perform chest compressions, and use an AED. The focus is on quick and effectiveaction in emergency situations.

Course 4: PBLS (Pediatric BasicLife Support) – 3 hours
The PBLS course is intended for healthcare professionals and others who workwith infants and children.
The training focuses onrecognizing cardiac arrest in children, performing pediatric CPR, and using anAED in pediatric patients. Attention is given to age-specific differences, witha strong emphasis on practical skills training.

Unlimited coffee & tea during all training sessions.
Lunch is included when attending the ALS or ILS course at the HOH Academy.
