Who are we?

On July 1st 2023, the foundation called “Fundacion Servicio Laboratorio Medico Aruba” (FSLMA-LABHOH) was legally merged with “Stichting Ziekenverpleging Aruba” (SZA – Horacio Oduber Hospital). This means that LABHOH is now part of team HOH as a department within the Horacio Oduber Hospital. LABHOH supports Horacio Oduber Hospital and healthcare providers in the areas of medical laboratory services for patient care as well as public health services by providing medical laboratory testing targeted for those areas.

Quality & Accreditation
Quality assurance is leading and is a continuous process. We are quality driven and we are transparent about that.

The Medical Microbiology department is accredited in accordance with NEN-EN-ISO 15189:2012 under registration number: M321 by the Dutch Accreditation Council (RvA). This standard focuses in particular on the expertise, impartiality, independence and improvement culture of conformity assessment organizations. This standard is accepted in almost all countries worldwide.
