About HOH
The Dr. Horacio E. Oduber Hospital is a 320-bed general hospital with more than 800 workers in its service. We have 20 specializations and more than 60 specialists working with us. The hospital provides medically-specialized care: clinical, polyclinic and ambulatory treatment.
The General Nursing Foundation Aruba governs the Hospital. The
daily management of the hospital is in the hands of a medical and
financial director. They are assisted by an executive secretary, a senior legal advisor, 7 heads of departments and 3 policy executives.
Part of the specialists is employed by the hospital, being: the anesthetists, radiologists, pediatricians, the nephrologist, the lung specialist, the intensive-care specialist, the oncologist, part of the gynecologists and the pharmacist as well.

We strive to make your stay in the hospital as easily as possible. It is important to us that you are happy with your stay, with our health care and with the service rendered. Yet it may occur that your expectations are not completely met. This may give cause for complaint. We highly appreciate it if you would inform us of this inconvenience. This will allow us to –together- look for solutions to remedy the situation. For more information on complaints, we refer you to our folder, available in all the departments. Quality Management
We devote ourselves to render the highest quality of service to our patients. For this reason we have started with an acknowledgement project. The objective of this project is to describe all the processes within the health care in an unambiguous manner in order to enhance the efficiency of the services.
Tourist Information
Tourism is the most vital artery of the economy of Aruba. The hospital which is located in the face of all the hotels is able to supply tourists suffering of chronic diseases with treatment and assistance during their vacation on the island. We boast an Emergency Room, fitted with the most modern, state-of-the-art equipment and ready to provide 24-hour of daily extensive medical service to our tourists.
In our well equipped Haemodialysis Department, tourists who need to undergo haemodialysis or who are in need of assistance with CAPD, can be treated here. The department’s personnel consist of highly trained professionals and one nephrologist.
Tourists, who are being treated with chemo therapy, could come here for treatment during their stay in Aruba.
